Clifford Shulman, PT, CFP, CTP is director of Black Mountain Physical Therapy and has been helping people move better for over thirty years. He has achieved a reputation amongst patients and physicians for his outstanding and thorough care which addresses each individual in a skilled, informed and wholistic manner. He has advanced training in multiple orthopedic and manual therapies, as well as in therapeutic exercise and neuromuscular reeducation approaches. His training includes certifications in myofascial release, Feldenkrais® and Trager®, methods that have been acclaimed for their capacity to help people regain mobility and function. His work is informed by decades of study of physical therapy and specialized movement education approaches such as Feldenkrais, Trager, Laban Movement Analysis and Ideokinesis. Through years of study and practice, he has found that these methods often complement most traditional services and offer considerable options for change even for people who have not been helped by physical therapy previously. Cliff is especially interested in helping people learn how to develop the movement habits that allow themselves to move more comfortably. |
